Fishin’ Club awards students

The Fishin’ Club of Whidbey Island gives out scholarships annually to Whidbey Island high school students who are going on to college to study in the marine sciences.

The 2019 scholarship recipients, OWEN BORAM, oceanography, and CARLI NEWMAN, biochemistry and environmental science, are both South Whidbey High School graduates.
