State financial audit for South Whidbey Fire/EMS was clean

South Whidbey Fire/EMS held an audit exit interview for its financials in 2014 and accountability in 2013 and 2014 on Nov. 19, which showed no findings.

South Whidbey Fire/EMS held an audit exit interview for its financials in 2014 and accountability in 2013 and 2014 on Nov. 19, which showed no findings. George Holk from the Washington State Auditor’s Office gave an overview of the audit and commended the district on its clean audit and noted that the information will be published on the Auditor’s Office website.

The next audit is scheduled for 2017 on accountability and financials.

The South Whidbey Fire/EMS board of commissioners concluded the exit interview and held their regular monthly meeting, at which they also signed a contract for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) upgrades with bid award recipient True Mechanical.
