South Whidbey parks office to close for move

South Whidbey Parks & Recreation District will be closed for three days next week for the move into the new park headquarters in the former South Whidbey Health Services building.

The district office will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11, Thursday, Nov. 12 and Friday, Nov. 13 for the move.

The offices for the park district will re-open at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16.

Those needing to register for a program or reach park staff before the closure should call before 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10.

Parks staff said a holiday open house will be held in early December for the public, with Santa and his elves.
