Coupeville softball got the best of its Whidbey Island rival South Whidbey on Tuesday.
And the Wolves did it in spectacular fashion.
South Whidbey held an 8-7 lead going into the bottom of the seventh inning. The Falcons were three outs from their first win of the season.
Coupeville scored the tying and winning runs on a two RBI double by McKayla Bailey. It gave the Wolves their first Cascade Conference win this season.
Falcon juniors Chantel Brown and Haley Viers went 3-for-5 and senior Ellie Greene knocked a triple.
South Whidbey is 0-3 in Cascade Conference games and overall this season. Other than a 16-10 loss to Lakewood, South Whidbey has lost its games by two runs or less.
