The South Whidbey Pee Wee football team beat Darrington 47-7 last Saturday in its last regular season game.
Coach Patrick Kelley said the team’s goal was to have every player score a touchdown this season.
“As kids move up, their chance to be made lineman increases and the odds of ever feeling what it is like to score a touchdown diminishes,” Kelley said.
Against Darrington, some of the team’s younger players all scored, including Lucas Taksony, Tyler Thrasher, Anthony Gianni-Hall, Zain Balora and Brody Nelson.
Ian Maddux and Brent Batchelor also scored rushing touchdowns, while Matthew Kelley returned a fumble. Shelby Campbell helped score a safety in the third quarter.
All 15 players scored this season, and 14 players scored a touchdown on offense.
The Pee Wee Falcons (4-2) have a bye this week, and play Anacortes in the playoffs Oct. 22.
