South Whidbey teacher, volunteer awards doled out

South Whidbey’s parent-teacher associations honored several teachers and volunteers with Golden Apple and Acorn awards at a ceremony recently.

This year, they went to Debra Davies-Vogel, Tonya Henny, Jess Monett, Erin Simms, Kim Williams and Jamie Poteat for exceptional help in the schools.
