Lena Larkin and James Casey were married April 30, 2011 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nev. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Brian Ross.
The bride is the great-granddaughter of Myrtle Thorsen and the late Henry Thorsen of South Whidbey. She is the granddaughter of Judy and Lanny Workman of Clinton and the late Danne Thorsen. She is the daughter of Kristi and Steve Ridgeway of Oregon and Mike Larkin of Everett. The groom is the son of Bobbie and Mike Casey of Hood River, Ore.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. The bride’s sister, Elle Larkin and friend, Kelsey Beasley, stood up with the bride while Mike Casey stood with his son.
Friends and family joined the couple in the Venus Garden at Caesar’s Palace for the ceremony, followed by a celebratory dinner.
The bride and groom are graduates of Hood River Valley High School. While continuing an advanced education, the bride will work as an accounting associate. The groom is a steamfitter with UA Local 290.
The couple will reside in Forest Grove, Ore.
