Boaters need tow from Baby Island

A few boaters were stuck near Baby Island on Monday afternoon.

Around 4:15 p.m., South Whidbey Fire/EMS received a call about boaters in distress off the Saratoga area. The three boaters had anchored near Baby Island when their boat went dead. A marine towing company was called to take them back to Camano Avenue.

South Whidbey Fire/EMS did not have to put its marine response vessel into the water.
