More trips have been added to this weekend’s Washington State Ferries schedule on the Mukilteo-to-Clinton route, the state agency announced.

The runs aim to help the scores of holiday travelers going to and from Whidbey Island over the Fourth of July weekend.

The regular Sunday schedule for the Mukilteo-to-Clinton route is in effect for the Fourth of July.

Late night trips departing Clinton have also been added for Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the following times: 9, 10 and 11 p.m. Additional evening ferries from Mukilteo leave at 9, 10:30 and 11:30 p.m.

More ferry trips were also added to the Anacortes-to-San Juan Islands route and between Fauntleroy and Vashon Island.
