Your support helps Ryther kids | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

Members of South Whidbey Mardi Unit of Ryther Child Center, located in North Seattle, wish to take this opportunity to thank our many local merchant donors, our friends, neighbors and relatives for making our recent fundraising auction/raffle/dinner “Mardi Gras” a huge success.

Thanks to our King of Bourbon Street, Jim Freeman, for his superb auctioneering job and support. Thanks to the Holmes Harbor Rod & Gun Club for the use of its great facility. Thanks to manager Cheryl Lee and her staff for their hard work and support. All went well. Thanks, also, to Brian Kelly, South Whidbey Record editor, for printing our publicity and our personal connection. Thanks to the Langley Chamber of Commerce for placing this event on its reader board.

The kids at Ryther will benefit greatly from the success of this event. All money goes directly to the center to help kids who need counseling, love and direction in their lives.

The center is known for its professional attachment to these kids to help them grow into happy citizens of their community. A unique and one-of-a-kind facility. For anyone wishing to find out more about the center, feel free to call Mr. Grogg at 206-525-5959.

Thanks to all for making “Mardi Gras” a very fulfilling affair for all concerned.
