The Island County board of commissioners will host a series of public forums this year to solicit ideas and hear concerns from residents.

The first forum is 6 p.m. Monday, June 21, in the county commissioners hearing room, Room 102, in the basement of the County Annex Building at 1 NE Sixth St., Coupeville.

Other forums will be held on Camano, South Whidbey and North Whidbey at a later date.
