Patricia Joan MacLean, 61, passed away peacefully on May 23 2006 at the Royal Jubilee Hospice in Victoria, BC.

Patricia resided on Whidbey Island since 1984. For her last six years, she spent her time in both Clinton and Victoria, B.C. enjoying the special qualities and beauty of both locations.

She is survived by her husband and sons: Jack, Ian, and Kyle Smith, respectively.

She was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on Oct. 7, 1944 and became a nurse after graduating from Holy Cross in Calgary. She was also a spiritual counselor, mother and world traveler. We will remember her most as a strong, nurturing, caring, beautiful lady with hair none could match and a power to unassumingly influence many for the better.

We would like to thank her doctors and her home and palliative care nurses for facilitating her passing in the best way possible.
