South Whidbey tennis team cancellations mounting

On Monday, the scheduled match with Ferndale was cancelled due to rain, adding that school to Anacortes and Burlington that need to be made-up prior to district action on Oct. 20.

“It means a lot of intense last-minute play to cram all these matches into a short time period,” said Falcon coach Tom Kramer. “If we can’t, we’ll move ahead anyway.”

Wednesday, the team travels to Squalicum. Weather permitting.
