“A young Langley man suffered a facial laceration and head injury in a single-car accident Thursday night on Deer Lake Road.According to the State Patrol, Jason Richard Royds, 18, was driving a 1983 Buick Regal southbound at 9:25 p.m. when the car left the roadway and struck a power pole. Royds was alone in the car. He was transported by ambulance to Whidbey General Hospital. The Sheriff’s Office impounded the vehicle. “
