For many children, preparing for Christmas begins with a letter to Santa Claus. These letters are as much a part of Christmas as the brightly lit, beautifully decorated trees in their homes. They are a cumulation of what the kids have been thinking about for months–what gifts they want for Christmas.

The toy list is carefully planned, whether it’s Star Wars action figures or “lots of American Doll stuff.” This is really what they want to see under the tree Christmas morning.
