Navy landing practices scheduled next week

Aircraft carrier-based flight training operations are scheduled at Ault Field on North Whidbey and Outlying Landing Field Coupeville during the week of Monday, Aug. 17 through Sunday, Aug. 23.

At OLF Coupeville, the following landing practices are scheduled:

• Afternoon, then night on Tuesday, Aug. 18, Wednesday, Aug. 19, and Thursday, Aug. 20.

At Ault Field, the following landing practices are scheduled:

• Late morning to afternoon, Tuesday, Aug. 18.

Comments regarding flight operations should note the time an event occurred, where exactly the event occurred and as much detail as possible about what was seen. NAS Whidbey officials also ask that people leave contact information for tracking purposes.
