Dream pursued for Mike’s Place in Langley

Mona Newbauer, owner of Sweet Mona’s chocolate store on Second Street, has her eye on the vacant Mike’s Place building which holds a prominent spot in Langley at the corner of First and Anthes, across the street from the Dog House Tavern.

After the restaurant closed the bank took over the building, Newbauer said, and might part with it for $350,000, far below the original listing. “I have a dream for that building,” she said.
