Shoreline? Everett? Seattle? Lake Forest Park?

Thanks for weighing in on our local issues. It always warms my heart to hear from people who feel obliged to insert themselves in other people’s business. They don’t live here and they don’t pay taxes here but they are perfectly comfortable deciding how we should live our lives and spend our money.

Poop is not pollution? Well, certainly not for you. Each adult goose produces about two pounds of fecal matter per day. I would bet you would not tolerate a person or someone else’s dog dumping two pounds of poop on your lawn, driveway or car every day. Imagine your children playing in it. That’s the key, really — your yard, your car, your kids.

Disappointed in our island’s poor choices? Super! Solve your own problems and show us how it’s done. Use one of your peppy little letters to solve the tunnel issue in Seattle. You remember, the one you want the rest of us in the state to pay for.  Why don’t you tackle your own pollution problems of drugs and prostitution on Highway 99? You know, the syringes, used condoms and “fecal matter” left behind by your “geese.”

Once you get all of your own problems worked out get back to us.
