To the editor:

Dear relatives, words do not convey how surrounded by love I feel from my community.

From the moment of my good husband’s death through his wake, till the celebration of his life, and now the benefit/auction to aid me in continuing what we started together, has been immense.

Each step of the way, from the sensitivity of the coroner, to Visser’s, to Burley’s ­— all my family and friends that took care of even the smallest details, to the blessing of many donations that became a lovely way to benefit not just myself, but so many others.

I know that these are hard times and many people are suffering financially, losing jobs and homes. Even with that, you all have been so lovingly generous to me and my family, and honored my husband by giving back.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. May the Creator bless each of you.
