To the editor:

It has recently come to the attention of the Hearts & Hammers board that there was a “glitch” with our website, and that many email messages sent to us in the past few months have not reached us.

No doubt, many important messages asking for our help with home repairs, asking how to volunteer or how to donate to Hearts & Hammers have not reached us. The technical problem with our website has been identified and corrected.

I urge anyone who has sent us a message and not heard back from us to contact us again right away. We are a healthy, energetic organization with hundreds of volunteers ready to help people in our community with important home repairs and we want to hear from you.

You can contact Hearts & Hammers in three ways:  by calling our message line at 221-6063; by sending us an email through our website at www.heartsandhammers.com; or by calling directly to Hearts & Hammers board members Bob Dalton at 206-396-4148 or Dennis Kamera at 360-914-0450.

Thank you for your understanding, and please contact us with your request for help, to volunteer and to donate to Hearts & Hammers.
