To the editor:

Kudos to Island Transit and Jay Davenny and the city of Langley for the wonderful new Noble Creek Transit Park gracing the entrance to Langley. It is fabulous. The design of the bus shelters, the cube benches and the signage are so well conceived and executed that it delights me every time I pass by.

The transit park is a wonderful welcome mat for the entrance to the town, and speaks to the community’s commitment to aesthetics in function. Along with the new firehouse and the beautifully expanded WICA facilities, visitors must be left with a sense of WOW when coming into our seaside village for the first time.
