I have seen Christy Korrow at work. She is open-minded, willing to hear all sides, and tireless in following through on projects once they have been initiated and agreed upon. Her values are rock solid and her love of Langley boundless. She has, with her partners, planned and developed the Upper Langley affordable housing community that the hearing examiner lauded as the kind of community our founding fathers envisioned for our country. She cares about families. She cares about the elderly. She cares about a robust economy. And she cares about the environment. She has been an activist for over 25 years. Christy doesn’t just talk. She acts.

You’d have to look far and wide to find a more versatile, caring, and connected human being. Christy can scale mountains in the Himalayas, squire her family through the wonders of Italy, write and edit for several magazines, and do the nitty-gritty day-to-day work necessary to build a better community. She is just the sort of go-getter that Langley needs. My question to her is: When do you sleep?
