Letter: Coffee shop’s generosity a boost for nonprofit

Editor,

Whidbey Island Nourishes is celebrating the success of another Heart to Heart Event held at Useless Bay Coffee Company on Feb. 8.

Many thanks to our attendees and donors, volunteers and elementary school artists, and to Des Rock.

Des generously opens the doors to UBCC for WIN every year and provides a multi-course gourmet dinner for our guests.

Des’ generosity helps keep WIN going strong, providing free, ready-to-eat, healthy meals to the children in need in our community.
