This letter is my appreciation for the letter from Bill Merrill. That letter is right on point, 100% correct about electric cars for the Oak Harbor Police Department.

I would never buy an electric car. I guess I apply common sense to my decisions, however, liberals act on feelings….. getting an EV makes them “feel” warm and fuzzy inside, regardless of how those cars are made.

I have an ethical problem knowing that my EV was built in part by poor children of color and the Communist Chinese. One would think the liberals would see that?

This country is heading more towards Marxist / Socialist ways, again thanks to the liberals. Let’s pray we get a conservative president and governor next time around. God bless America.
