Letter: Habitat for Humanity saw successful building event

Editor,

Thank you for a successful Women Build 2019 event.

On March 8 and 9, we saw over 80 enthusiastic Women Build volunteers at our latest project located at 3160 Summit Boulevard in Oak Harbor.

It was one of the biggest Women Build turnouts we have ever had.

We are delighted to report that we have accomplished our goal, met wonderful people and established new partnerships with local businesses and other nonprofit organizations.

Habitat for Humanity of Island County would like to take this moment to thank all the sponsors, donors and volunteers for making Women Build this year a huge success.

With the help and support of the community, we are able to help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves.

Irene C. Kintz
