Why are people hoarding toilet paper? Several stores have empty shelves. There is no shortage, it is widely produced, there are about 150 U.S. companies making this stuff and it is not imported from China.

It does not protect from the respiratory coronavirus.

Stocking hand sanitizer and face masks would make more sense.

Panic buying when there is no shortage just inconveniences everybody and wastes money.
