In response to a sponsored story about Island Transit making catching the ferry convenient, Gayle states that while riding on the island, “the countryside is gorgeous and the ride is free.”

No, it is not free. You are paying for it with sales tax on everything you buy in Island County. Similarly the governor swore, the “carbon tax” would only add a few pennies to your fuel cost and now we have the highest price gasoline of all the 50 states.

If you tell a lie long enough eventually people think it becomes truth.
