I have known Ann Johnson for over 20 years, and over that time have witnessed her dedication and compassion for kids and this community. From the early days of holiday house where parents could Christmas shop for their kids free, to Whidbey Children’s Theater and then the South Whidbey School Board. There may be more, but I have been impressed with her commitment to the needs of children and families on the South End. She offers herself fully and stands strong in who she is while also listening to varied and unique perspectives. She operates from the heart with strength. I know I can trust her to do what is best for the students at our schools.

I would guess that anyone running against her would be doing so because they do not embody these same qualities, but rather wish to go another direction or perhaps have an agenda of some sort. Ann has been a great addition to the school board and I trust our district will benefit from her continued engagement there.
