LETTER TO THE EDITOR | A few bad users don’t ruin marina in Langley

Editor, Thanks for your editorial on the Langley marina Jan 13. It’s good to remind the South Whidbey port commission that taxes from the entire island help support it. Briefly, if a few crabbers are some sort of issue with unruly behavior or littering, perhaps the harbor master or the assistant harbor master could wander down and deal with it?

Editor,

Thanks for your editorial on the Langley marina Jan 13. It’s good to remind the South Whidbey port commission that taxes from the entire island help support it.

Briefly, if a few crabbers are some sort of issue with unruly behavior or littering, perhaps the harbor master or the assistant harbor master could wander down and deal with it? Seems odd to have two employees who are supposed to run the place but who can’t address an issue that is caused by a very few.

And I wonder why the formerly public restroom now has a sign on it saying it’s closed to the public from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. Oh well, it’s semi private beside the building so men can pee there. Sorry, the ladies don’t have it so easy.
