LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Art in my honor is a gift to the public

Editor, Thank you for running the sculpture article on the People Page in the Wednesday, Feb. 17 edition of The Record. The basalt piece titled “To Hold” was designed and created by Sue Taves, who has pieces of public art on display in Langley. The sculpture is located by the large chess set on the grassy area across from the bike shop at Bayview Corner. I encourage everyone to stop a minute as you visit the Cash Store and Bayview Farm & Garden.

Editor,

Thank you for running the sculpture article on the People Page in the Wednesday, Feb.

I am very grateful for Sue’s care in this piece as well as happy to have so many supporters of Goosefoot braving the elements. What a community we live in!
