LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Chamber music was first class, a cut above

Editor, A public expression of appreciation is due the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Whidbey Island for bringing such high quality musicians to Whidbey Island. The chamber music concert I attended Saturday evening was first class, easily the best I’ve heard on Whidbey.

A public expression of appreciation is due the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Whidbey Island for bringing such high quality musicians to Whidbey Island.

The chamber music concert I attended Saturday evening was first class, easily the best I’ve heard on Whidbey. Also, live music is such a cut above recorded music, not just because of the sound quality but also because of the pleasure of watching five skilled and energetic musicians communicate with one another by eye contact and gesture.

What a treat!
