To the editor:

I would like to personally thank everyone in and beyond our community who donated to the M-Bar-C Ranch auction this year and years past.

There are so many of you who so generously gave of themselves whether it be merchandise, time, materials, knowledge or artistic abilities. I thank you one and all.

With the uncertain economy we find ourselves with less to give or just hesitant to spend. Yet you all graciously stepped up and generously donated to our cause, our kids. For this I applaud you all. Well done.

You’re donations will help us continue to share this ranch experience with many deserving children in the coming year.

If you’re unfamiliar with the M-Bar-C Ranch or looking to volunteer, I highly recommend the M-Bar-C.

I myself have experienced much personal growth in my four years at the ranch. I’m blessed to work with truly salt-of-the-earth people every day Ñ and to work with kids and horses. For me, life doesn’t get any better than this. I actually feel like I’m making a difference in peoples’ lives daily. I think I’ve found my purpose.
