To the editor:

Your article on campaign contributions last Wednesday led me to ask, “Who else, besides me, objects to their tax dollars supporting the political campaign of Mary Margaret Haugen, given her support for providing thousands of abortions every month by Planned Parenthood?”

This organization provided 289,750 abortions in 2006, that’s over 24,000 per month; and in 2007, it received one third of its funding from the federal government — $336.7 million.
