LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Crucial differences weren’t included in commissioner story

Editor, You missed a great opportunity in your front-page article to convey the huge difference in philosophy, outlook and experience between the two candidates running for Island County commissioner. Editor,

You missed a great opportunity in your front-page article to convey the huge difference in philosophy, outlook and experience between the two candidates running for Island County commissioner. Even the summary boxes don’t begin to show the vast disparity in their professional experience and community service.

For a far better understanding of who these candidates are and what they stand for, I suggest that voters spend some time at their respective websites. As I see it, we have a choice between Karla Jacks, a dedicated community leader in the mold of Commissioner Helen Price Johnson, and a political ideologue like Kelly Emerson.
