LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Don’t take the deal, fight for Greenbank access

I would like to urge the Island County commissioners to reject the Wonn Road settlement offer and pursue a judgment based on the merits of the county’s claim. Why is this taking more than eight years to accomplish? If the merits of the county’s action are insufficient to secure a ruling then so be it. It is the people’s historic Wonn Road access to the water that is at stake here and that is what the county should pursue.
