LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Fiber farm letter was a stretch

Editor, Regarding the letter to the editor by Stan Walker about seeing a sign for a “fiber farm” and assuming that it referred to growing marijuana is quite a stretch. A fiber farm is a farm that raises fiber animals, such as alpaca, sheep, goats, etc. for fiber for clothing and has nothing to do with marijuana or dietary fiber. There are quite a few fiber farms on Whidbey Island.
