To the editor:

We would like to extend our deepest thanks to all our family and friends who recently helped us celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.

The outstanding food you brought, the music, the good wishes, your company and the many ways so many helped in putting on the event are indicative of our community.

Family members from out of town all commented on the warmth and caring of the people they met on Whidbey. How fortunate we are, they said.

Fortunate, indeed; we are deeply grateful to each of you for helping us celebrate 25 years of marriage in this wonderful place.
