Editor,

A year ago Labor Day, Maxwelton had a community garage sale. As a grandmother I made a grievous mistake. I sold our grandchildren’s favorite bedtime storybook. The title is “Five minute Bedtime Stories.”

The woman who purchased the book was a new grandmother and we talked about how wonderful the book and stories were and I hoped she would enjoy it as much as we did. The book was given to us the first time we became grandparents; it had a personalized inscription I can identify.

I was able to find a used copy on Amazon, however it is not the same as the one that was given to us as a gift almost 24 years ago.

I will be happy to exchange the book I purchased. If you were the grandmother who purchased the book, will you be willing to make the exchange?

My grandma heart hurts. I can be reached at sellersremorse@whidbey.com

Thank you,

JULIE JOSELYN
