To the editor:
The Freeland Library is asking the public for help locating old photographs of the library as it was before we moved into our present location. The library will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of the new building at an open house, and we’d like to share memories of the original library and display historical photographs that people may have stashed away in their attics.
Anyone with photos is asked to call the library at 331-7323, or bring them by, so that we can enlarge them or use them in a display. We will return any and all offerings to their owners.
The open house will be hosted by the Freeland Library staff and will take place at the library from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22. Please join us.
