To the editor:

I cannot believe what I have just read in the South Whidbey Record about Angie Homola’s dismissal from Island County. The reporter should be fired!

These are personal issues that should never be brought up in an election. The Republican Party has reached a new low on Whidbey Island.

I have always voted for the Republican Party candidates, but not this year. I hope this article causes a backlash that moves Bakke and McDowell out of office. We need a change in the Good Old Boy’s Club dominance of Island County politics.
