Editor,

This is a letter to encourage my fellow Americans to not vote for either nitwit currently in the running to be the next president of the United States of America.

Aside from the obvious embarrassment from the one, and the criminal activity of the other, I think a message should be sent that we deserve better, that we refuse to toes a party line just to support that particular party. We should not have to choose between the “lesser of two evils.” We should rather, choose between the better of two goods.

I’m never undecided when asked if I want a really bad headache, or a really bad stomach ache. I don’t want either! Ask me if I want Mexican or Italian for dinner and my mind goes crazy with the possibilities that lay before me. In much the same way, please do not vote in the upcoming presidential election just because you must choose one or the other, because you don’t have to choose.

However, if you must vote, please write in a vote for Ignatius J. Reilly so that your voice may be heard, and so that your vote will indeed matter.
