Editor,

On behalf of the South Whidbey High School Performing Arts Boosters, we’d like to thank the following businesses and individuals for donating raffle and door prizes for our recent Sweetheart Big Band Dance.

Thank you to:

Joe’s Music, Music for the Eyes, The Healthy Pet, Mukilteo Coffee, Linds, Casey’s Crafts, The Clyde, Debra Eimers, Edit, Useless Bay Coffee Company, Joni Takanikos, Hong Kong Gardens and Sweet Mona’s.

Many of you have been long-time supporters of the music program in South Whidbey schools. The high school and middle school jazz bands played their hearts out while all ages danced and celebrated the evening.

Bragging rights go to the South Whidbey High School Jazz Band since the Sweetheart dance. They just returned from the Lionel Hampton International Jazz Festival in Idaho and placed first in their division (16 years in a row)! Also, the ensemble was recently chosen as a finalist in the prestigious Monterey Jazz Festival in April.

We would love your individual or business support. Business sponsorships are available. Donations can be sent via SWHS-PAB, P.O. Box 743, Langley, WA 98260 or at GoFundMe.com/swhsjazzmonterey. Your donations are tax deductible.

It takes a village. On behalf of the South Whidbey High School Jazz Ensemble and Director Chris Harshman, thank you!
