To the editor:

Steve Erickson’s letter is insulting to our intelligence and to law enforcement all over the country. “Imagine rogue police officers waterboard for a confession and pulling fingernails for a confession.”

Mr. Erickson, you are hallucinating! You do not know what you are talking about; you are throwing out garbage. I do not know what point you’re trying to get across, but you make no sense.

Never were the Japanese or the Nazis ever tried for waterboarding; that is a bunch of bunk that has been made up by the left. Our Special Forces are put through the same technique so they know how it feels and would be able to deal with it if captured. Why aren’t you upset and protesting the American civilians that have been beheaded by the Islamist terrorists; why aren’t you upset about the charred American bodies that have been hung over a bridge in Iraq — that’s torture!! You are part of the “Blame America First Crowd.”

Equating police officers in our country to Islamic terrorists killing Americans in our country (remember 2/26/1993 and 9/11/01) to Islamist terrorists in a war zone like the Middle East is inexcusable.

Your letter is such a joke, I do not know why I am even responding to such garbage.
