LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Loitering Langley fowl are an opportunity for varied fare

Editor, Being a fan of both Helen Price Johnson and the Rural Characters I was delighted to attend the campaign kickoff at Bayview Hall. Randy referenced the Rooster Ruckus in Langley (fodder for next year’s mystery weekend?) and they sang the ever popular “Fishin’ for Chickens.” Perhaps the Langley Main Street Association should enlist the help of the Easter Bunny and sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt, and get Rock n Doodle 0 poultry club to help.

Editor,

Being a fan of both Helen Price Johnson and the Rural Characters I was delighted to attend the campaign kickoff at Bayview Hall.

This would also be an opportunity for Langley restaurants to offer a choice between rabbit stew and chicken soup. In case you’re interested in raising chicks, at the South Whidbey Tilth Market we’ll be offering a chicken workshop at a Sunday Market in summer.

Meanwhile, spread the word about re-electing Helen Price Johnson. That’s something we can all crow about!

LINDA GOOD
