Thank you, Mystic Sea Charters.

To raise $4,600 for Orca Network and the new Langley Whale Center,  Mystic Sea owners Monte and Cindy Hughes donated the whale watching boat and crew for a whale of a cruise Sunday evening. Capt. Monte found the whales in deep water off of Port Susan.

Orca Network founders Susan Berta and Howard Garrett were onboard talking about the effort to protect whales in their natural habitat. Local Langley whale supporters donated elegant hors d’oeuvres, wine and dessert. Thank you, Braeburn, Cafe Langley, Chocolate Flower Farm, Living Green, Prima Bistro, Blooms Wines and Ott and Murphy Wines.

Absolutely all of the money raised from purchased cruise tickets goes straight to Orca Network and the Langley Whale Center at Second Street and Anthes Avenue.
