Personal projection. The EA-18G Growlers at NAS Whidbey will be reassigned to NAS Lemoore and NAS Oceana once the P8 Poseidons begin arriving. They will need the real estate as the foot print of a Boeing 737 is pretty big. Then once and for all the weenies that complain about the carrier based aircraft doing practice landings will be silenced – for awhile, until they get a whiff of the P8 in the pattern.

Outlying Field Coupeville will be closed and returned to the state, as The P8’s (737’s) will not need it.
