I am a retired pediatric oncologist who feels privileged to live in Langley. The small town, rural character of the place has restored my soul after a long and demanding career.

I want a mayor who has lived on Whidbey for some time and understands what it takes to run a small business here. Small business is the heart of the South Whidbey community. Sharon Emerson is a long-time Whidbey resident and has run a business that provided essential services to our citizens. She understands the unique qualities that make Langley great. I have no doubt she can be forward looking while preserving the best of our home grown culture.

I don’t want to become a western suburb of Seattle or Bellevue. Let’s keep Langley wild a little bit longer. Vote for Emerson for mayor.
