Sharon Emerson was my boss 25 years ago at Island Home Nursing and has been my best friend for many years. Her habit of speaking her mind takes some getting used to, but over the years I’ve come to appreciate the fact that she has the guts to do so.

Typically the ideas she puts forth are well researched and carefully considered. They are tempered with a dose of humor and common sense. Though she has strong opinions, I’ve never known her to be closed-minded. She genuinely wants to hear what others have to say and accepts their input. Her door-to-door campaigning has given her a great opportunity to listen to the people of Langley.

Sharon is hard working, smart, honest and kind. These qualities make her a great friend and would make her a great mayor for Langley.
