LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Strangers came to my rescue

To the editor:

I would like to take a moment to say “thank you” to two men in the Bell’s Beach neighborhood who came to my rescue on Dec. 23.

I am a real estate agent for Windermere in Freeland and I had a house that sold in Bell’s Beach. It was full of staging furniture and accessories that by contract had to be moved out in the snow.

The moving process went well and after the movers left I proceeded to get stuck going the back way to Saratoga.

I was very close to hitting a parked car when one of the ferry employees stopped along with another gentleman from Bell’s Beach to give me a hand.

I did not get either of these gentlemen’s names before they pushed me off, so again I would like to say “thank you”!
