LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Supporters made wheels go round

To the editor:

The Langley Community Club and the Langley Men’s Club want to express their gratitude to all the participants and their supporters who braved the wet weather at the Soup Box Derby, Saturday, Sept. 20.

Sue Frause, again, was outstanding announcing the racers and their special carts. All the entrants received a prize for their efforts.

The major top sponsors this year were: Coldwell Banker Tara Properties, Inn at Langley and the Star Store. The Clyde Theatre and Village Pizza were multi-bale donors.
